Gabriel Jimenez, from Puerto Rico, and Tamita Brown, from Jamaica, are a dedicated Caribbean couple who collaboratively own and operate 80 acres of farmland in Wilkes County, GA.
The mission of Caribe United Farm is to provide consumers with high-quality, organic, non-GMO meat and eggs that reflect their dedication to humane animal care. As a small-scale, pasture-raised poultry producer in one of Georgia's largest agricultural sectors, their work stands out. Raising animals outdoors 24/7 is challenging, as it’s far easier to control an indoor environment than to work with the natural elements.
I chose to create a five-minute feature video on Caribe United Farm as a segment of my news package for Reporting III.

Our Intro to Video Editing class was tasked with exploring and focusing on a space, an object or a person. I chose to focus on records, an object, and explore Classic City Records in Athens, a space dedicated to pressing records.
I was able to speak with Max Talkovich who showed me the manufacturing and process behind record pressing.
